Electromagnetic flowmeter is a flow measurement instrument based on the Faraday electromagnetic induction principle, mainly used to measure the volume flow of conductive liquids. The following are its main functions and characteristics:
1. Conductive liquid flow measurement
Applicable to conductive liquids such as water, acid and alkali solutions, mud, slurry (conductivity is generally required to be ≥5μS/cm), not suitable for non-conductive media such as gas, oil or pure water.
2. Industrial process control
Widely used in chemical, metallurgical, environmental protection, water supply and other industries, real-time monitoring of pipeline flow, providing data support for production automation.
3. No pressure loss design
There are no flow-blocking components in the measuring tube, no pressure loss when the fluid passes through, and significant energy saving effect.
4. High precision and stability
The measurement accuracy can usually reach ±0.5%~±1%, and is not affected by fluid temperature, pressure, density or viscosity (full pipe state required).
5. Diverse output signals
Can output 4-20mA analog signal, pulse signal or digital communication (such as HART, Modbus), easy to integrate with PLC and DCS systems.
