Balance container
The balance container is the primary instrument of the differential pressure water level gauge. It needs to be used in conjunction with a water level indicator or a differential pressure gauge. The balance container can be used to measure the water level and alarm, and it can reflect the quality water level in the drum under normal boiler operation.
TG–(B)SP type double chamber balance container is welded by cylinder, positive pressure compensation pipe, negative pressure pipe, water cup, funnel and other parts.
Under normal working conditions, the water level in the boiler drum cannot be measured directly, so the lead pipe measurement method is often used. However, its disadvantage is that the temperature difference between the lead pipe and the drum is large, so the density of water is large and different from that in the drum, resulting in a certain measurement error.
The double chamber balance container is used because during the working process, saturated steam condenses in the chamber to release heat, heats the positive pressure compensation pipe and the negative pressure compensation pipe, and the outer layer of the balance container is sufficiently protected. Heat loss is reduced, so that the temperature of the balance container is close to the temperature in the drum. Thereby, the density of water in the positive pressure compensation pipe and the negative pressure pipe is approximately equal to the density of water in the boiler under any operating condition; and due to the correct selection of the height of the positive pressure compensation pipe, when the water level in the boiler is constant, the pressure change values of the positive pressure compensation pipe and the negative pressure pipe are equal no matter how the pressure in the boiler changes.
